i have short turn memory lost. thats what i realized tonight. wow i did it. is it because i keep the insignificant things out of my life? or is it that I am just making space for new memories.

so today I wanted to find out if there are any mix rap albums. i got coldplay vs jayz the other day. "so i was like why not?". while my interesting search i found something very interesting comment someone had on some site.
this is rap music.
"a form of art that inspires people to sell drugs (snowflakes), be part of a culture that is not accessible in most places (i.e. suburban/rural America), is otherwise destructive (encourages crime and denounces academics), and encourages incorrect grammar and pronunciation (as is evidenced by poor communication skills in high school and college students). This isn't the case for you, but for many others, it's a way of life. I find that sad.
Fo shizzle mike rizzle. Wut the dizzle with the ezinglish lazizille?"
fuck. damn, i have no idea why i like it.
it truly is stupid. but i enojoi it only when i drive and i think its a great source of motivation

Best Buy Braintree Holiday Season 2.0
ok i am almost getting by the holiday season here at best buy. black friday was a drag but oh well. Theres a reason I havent updated. That reason is because i find everything insignificant for a post until now.
I was with this lovely customer yesterday. She had a bad experience at circuit city with the extended warranty and I told her I probably couldn't win her over no matter how hard I tried. Sometimes it is what it is. We spoke about the different options she was looking for. I explain everything slow with simple metaphors so she could understaind. "Memory is like gas for a car. The more gas you the further you can go. The more memory you have, the more things you can do". We continued to small talk about things here and there while at the same time incorporating what made sense to her 11 year old son and 19 year old daughter. The fact that she was on a tight budget and just came out of chemo didn't help either. I was able to find something in her price range to get her smile on.
The warmest part of working at best buy was the fact that this customer told my supervisor that "Over the course of this holiday season, I was the most helpful associate throughout all the stores she was at that provided a simple and enjoyable shopping experience"
As for the kicker, everything else in the store that she needed was out of stock. I was able to get her to check something off her list. It felt so warm to talk to a real person and build a real relationship. Not someone that was getting a gift for someone for the sake of getting a gift at the last minute.
